Starfield’s Planets Give Off a Strong Star Wars Vibe So Far

StarfieldBethesda is set to launch a new era in RPGs by creating a completely new universe for science fiction using the Creation Engine 2. The game received an official release date at E3 this year after years of waiting. However, there are still many things that fans want to learn about the title. Bethesda tried to set expectations by describing the game.StarfieldAsSkyrimIn space, Bethesda began to reveal more information slowly.

Bethesda recently released an overview of three cities players can expect to visit in Starfield. The videos are approximately 50 seconds in length and include a description of each city and concept art. However, the videos hinted at what players could expect from the cities and suggested that players could explore other areas. It remains to be seen what all that will look like, but Starfield’s locations seem to emit strong Star Wars vibes from what little has been shown.

New Atlantis Looks Like Coruscant

The concept art of New Atlantis depicts a touring metropolis that is constantly awake with lights and movement. The video also explains that the United Colonies run it. Starfield is the most powerful faction. This suggests that New Atlantis is a huge city. It also looks very similar. Star Wars’Coruscant. Coruscant, a city planet serving as the capital of the Galactic Republic, is comparable. It is an entire planet with one city. This planet is home to trillions of people from all races and backgrounds. New Atlantis’ video states that the planet will be called home for various ethnicities and people. Starfield.

A second interesting comparison is the origins of both worlds. You can find out more attar WarsHistorians believe Coruscant is the birthplace for humanity. This is why the planet is often modelled as an extension of real-world cities, cultures, politics, and metropolises. The video discusses Garfield as the city of New Atlantis narration states that the city is an extension of the real world and is considered by developers to be its futuristic counterpart. This could lead to New Atlantis being considered as the beginning point.StarfieldIt will probably be the most familiar city in the game. It will also be fascinating to see how it influences the culture and people around it. Neon Looks like Kamino and Canto Bight

Bethesda shows Neon as an interesting city. It was originally constructed on an undescriptive aquatic planet as a fishing platform. It will be only accessible via one Starfield starship. The company that created Neon soon discovered that the planet’s fish had psychedelic qualities. They decided to make the fishing platform a leisure area where space travellers could enjoy the drug’s effects while enjoying every other vice known to humanity. The design and placement of the city remind me of Star Wars” Kamino. Kamino is an aquaplanet. Its civilization was built on high platforms to keep it out of the water. However, Kamino was built for production purposes.

The newer culture of Neon is more like Canto Bight in Star Wars. Canto Bight is portrayed as a popular destination for wealthy people in the galaxy who want to gamble, watch horse races and drink to celebrate their vast fortunes. Canto Bight’s pleasure-oriented appeal is similar to Neon’s, though it is unclear who that target audience will be on Neon. The city is intriguing and could offer great opportunities for Starfield roleplaying.

 Akila Looks Like Tatooine

Because Tatooine appears in six of the original six Star Wars movies, it is most likely that Tatooine is one of the most popular Star Wars worlds. Starfield looks like it’s trying to capture the spirit of a wilder settlement at the outer frontiers of space. Akila is on a hostile planet. Its citizens must remain within its outer walls, or they will be prey to the Ashta, predatorial creatures that look like a cross between wolves and velociraptors. Fans have been able to identify the Ashta as one of the most interesting clues about Starfield’s enemies.

Culturally, however, there are some similarities between the two planets. Tatooine is a haven for vagabonds and outlaws who want to live a less lawful lifestyle. It is revealed in the prequels that slavery is not just legal but common on the planet. Starfield did not reveal whether Akila is subject to legal slavery. However, the video that showed the city revealed that the people there are committed to respecting the individual freedoms and dignity of all who live there. This could indicate that Akila follows Tatooine’s looser approach to law and order. However, it would also likely mean that the city is more morally sound, ruling out slavery. Akila stands out from all the Starfield planets, so players should expect to see plenty of different locations.

It will be interesting to see Starfield take when it finally releases and what information Bethesda chooses to release about the game as it nears its release next year. It is expected that it will live up to the expectations and hopes of Bethesda’s many customers. Starfield will not be available on PlayStation 5 for many of these fans, but it looks fantastic so far for those who can.
