Bethesda unveiled a new edition for the fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim at QuakeCon at home 2021. Skyrim is about to turn 10, which is a very momentous anniversary indeed, and the new Anniversary Edition will have some nice bonuses for players.

Skyrim’s Anniversary Edition is available to players on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The Anniversary Edition includes the complete game, all enhancements and the Dawnguard Hearthfire and Dragonborn expansions.

The game comes with a free next-gen console upgrade, over 500 Creation Club elements like quests, dungeons, bosses, and weapons. There’s also fishing, which is great. Although Skyrim doesn’t really need a fishing rod, it’s nice to have one. The popular mods will add more fun elements.

It is a joke that Skyrim will always be around, especially since Bethesda keeps releasing and porting the game. Skyrim can be run on smaller platforms such as the Nintendo Switch. In 2018, Bethesda made a joke announcement about Skyrim: Very Special Edition. This is a real playable game that can be downloaded to your iPhone, iPad or Amazon Echo, provided you understand the voice commands. The Elder Scrolls 6 is still unknown, but fans will soon be able to get back into Skyrim and continue their quests.
