Destiny 2: Season of the Lost starts today
Season of the Lost is the latest season of Destiny 2. It will run until February 22, 2022. This is also the day Bungie will release The Witch Queen, the next expansion to the game.
Bungie announced several changes to its looter-shooter MOM on Tuesday. This included details about The Witch Queen, an expansion available in the early part of next year. Bungie showed the latest season of the Lost as part of the Destiny Showcase. Season of the Lost, which Bungie’s seasonal approach to development has made a familiar feature, will include a new season pass and Exotics and activities and a story.
Season of the Lost will bring players back to the Dreaming City, which was first added in Destiny 2’s 2018 Forsaken expansion. Players will be able to meet Mara Sav (queen of the Awoken), whom they haven’t seen since 2015’s The Taken King expansion.
Last week’s leaked ads for Season of the Lost were posted online. They gave credence to other leaks regarding the future of destiny2. Bungie officially announced the title of Season of the Lost on Friday, along with Mara’s involvement.
